Covenant children continued this week with the Bible concept God Wants me to Love and Care for Others and verse "Let us love one another." I John 4:7. This week's Bible story is One Man Thanks Jesus (Luke 17:11-19). This week also marks the beginning of Lent. Everyone should have received Traci Smith's Lenten Family Practices Calendar at the cubby. Fiesta Covenant!
Fiesta Covenant is Saturday, March 7 at 5:30pm. Please plan on attending this fun night out at Santa Rita Cantina! Tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple and are on sale now. Childcare at Covenant is included. Make your childcare reservations by Wednesday, March 4. Children will have a pizza dinner and watch a movie.
Extended Care, FUN Fridays and Enrichment Mondays
Forms are out now to sign up for March extras. Drop-in is available for Extended Care, morning and afternoon, and FUN Fridays (for threes). Enrichment Mondays (for fours) is a full class day featuring Science, Cooking, Movement or Art. This class needs at least five kids to sign up in order to go. Please email Christy with your interest.
